Tomorrow is national Take Your Dog to Work Day®, a phrase trademarked by a pet sitters’ industry group.
At Justia, however, every day is take your dog to work day, where the in-house dogs keep hounding us for more free law.
- Help us chase laws
- Sit for Supreme Court opinions, and
- Rollover for recalls,
- Seek TROs for tummy rubs, and
- Sleep sua sponte.
Unfortunately, just because you want to take your dog to work doesn’t necessarily mean that you can.
Is your pooch the perfect lady or gentleman? We hope the answer is yes.
Can Fido sit and stay on command, and treat guests with respect? Good.
Perhaps more importantly, do your colleagues have any pet-related allergies? Are they all comfortable being around dogs of every kind and size? If not, you should consult with your H.R. department.
What does your landlord, commercial lease, and insurance company say about dogs on the premises.
You might be able to negotiate and resolve many of these issues.
But let’s not forget, at the end of the day, you and your dogs will have to get down to business. Ours do.
